When sims move in to their first home they have very little money, even fewer if they move out from their parents into their first home (at least if you have a hack that only give them their share of the money), so I though I might share some of my ideas for small starter home, you will find them here. I will try to add a little comment to each picture, so you can see what the idea was with this shot.

This is another room from the same house – I really liked the colours and thought some of you might want to use something like that.

Because of the way sims 3’s recolour system works, there isn’t much idea in recolouring objects for you, but I can share my colour pallets with you and I plan to do so. I hope you will find it inspiring. The game let you set colours of almost anything to hex colours – I will explain how in a tutorial in the future.

Inspired by the diy ideas on DesignSponge I have made-over a factory line dresser. It was pretty standard and boring. I brought it to life with a bit of blue effect paint.The paint is a basegame pattern found under paint.
