While some of us are sweltering in the heat of the summer, others are huddled around the fireplace trying to keep warm. This is the beauty of the Living Sims community. We are from all corners of the world and it is this diversity that gives LivingSims magazine its wonderful collection of unique styles and perspectives. We have had our share of silly fun on the forums this past while with dancing in the chat and feeding one another virtual cheeseburgers. A new challenge “Challenge Me To….” took the forum by storm as people rose to the challenges they were given and what resulted was just short of outstanding! This issue we feature many of our readers’ entries in the different challenges. We are constantly amazed at the talent that is out there. We also take a trip to Twinbrook and highlight some of the new features with our different makeovers.
From a tutorial on making a garden to renovating a private investigator’s office to finding the perfect sunroom, this issue promises a little something for everyone. Now pour yourself a cup of hot cocoa to keep warm or an ice cold glass of lemonade to cool off, find a comfy spot and enjoy this deliciously plump issue of Living Sims. If you aren’t already signed up for our Forum and Newsletter you may not know that we have just published Issue 17.

Pertition to Bring Collection Folders back in The Sims 3

The staffers at LivingSims Magazine and I have been ranting a lot about how annoying it is that there is no collection folder feature in Sims 3, like there was in Sims 2. It is one of the most useful features for us decorators! I can never find that little coffee cup I am looking for because I just have too much stuff in the misc. decoration area.

After ranting and ranting about it we decided to do something about it and start a petition to ask EA if they would please consider bring back the feature. But for this to be a convincing tactics we need you and all your friends to sign the petition.

So if you would also like EA to bring the Collection Folder feature up into Sims 3, please sign the petition today!

If you agree please join me and sign this petition!

Help us spread the word:

Spring is in full swing, and along with the fact that I just made a rhyme by accident, it seems a sense of cheeriness has been bestowed upon us all. Looking outside recently, I’m sure you’ve seen neighbours mowing their lawns, weeding their shrubs and potting their flowers, and in the Sim world it’s much the same! We at LivingSims have been garden crazy this issue! We have an inspirational article about the Riverview Academy “Garden of Good”, some great tips about how to present your front garden as we follow the Sunset Valley Garden Walkabout tours, and our own staffers even try their hand at making the garden of their dreams in the appropriately named “Dream Gardens: The Staff Edition”. These are but a few of the fantastic articles we have for you in this month’s issue of LivingSims Magazine, and of course you can expect to find our great selection of finds from throughout the community. So grab a cool drink, open up the windows and let us bring Spring to you wherever you are!

Accompanying our theme are interviews from Gosik of TSR, lifestyle4sims, and our very own Declan, and of course we have our usual collection of inspirational articles that you love. So take a look through our pages and see if you don’t feel the need to clean!

So enjoy issue 15

Mod PreFab house – 2 bedrooms – updated

I am sorry but somehow this linked to the wrong version of my house. I have now updated it to link to the right house!

I decided to do a slightly larger version of my Mod PreFab house so a small family would fit in there. Otherwise it is the same as the other house, though I have chanced some windows.

Download • downloaded 491 times – Updated with a working link

CC used in the lot – not required but recormended:
- Cubic Window Set by Newtlco @ tsr
- Plain Half Wall by cyclonesue @ TSR *pay* Or you can use Flabaliki half wall @ mts but this will give you a visible edge between wall and half wall, which is less disable. Another free alternative is Gosik’s half wall @ TSR
