SimsArtGallery has relesed her first mesh set and what a set! It is just beautiful and so well meshed and mapped. She made the apple bowl for my sister, who says thank you very much!

It would seem that they download community can read my mind, i was wishing for a bed just like this one the other day then I was decorating a bed room. So thank you Xerendipity for making it!

Here is another little known site: Game Report. It is a forum so you have to register to see their stuff, but I think it is worth it. They have a good stack of useful everyday items like a washer and an iroing board – stuff like that that makes your home look that little bit more compleate.

Last week I found a site that has the cutest stuff! It is not on the update sites I follow so I thought many of you might no know it either. They got around 20 new cute meshes like this tea set, but they also got all kinds of cleaning stuff. You should really check their site out. Perhaps you will need google to help translate it for you (language tools next to the search bottom at google) as the site is in Spanish or Portuguese.

There is a new (perhaps the final) CEP out! The CEP is a mini-hack that enable us to recolour maxis objects. That will enable us to recolour even more objects.

Finds: Collection folder icons

Then you have the amount of download I have collection folders is a must! Otherwise it would take me hours just to finish a small simple room. With collection folders I can find that particallar cup of coffee I am looking for within seconds. I properly have around 30 active collections + the ones I get with sets, which I normally keep – though I do tend to sort the things into creators instead of sets.

The only problem with collections is that they take a long time to set up – we are talking hours, but once they are up they save so much time and they are fairly easy to maintain – just make sure to put the new stuff into the collections right away then you add new stuff to your game. What I do is that I have date folders referring to the date I installed something. Then I have a new batch of downloads I start the game up with just my collections, nhood deco (I only have one hood and if I don’t have that i the game I need to redecorate my nhood next time I fire up the game) and the folder with the new downloads. That way I get the new downloads tested – make sure nothing crashes And I get a chance to easierly find the new stuff and get it into collections.

One thing that do make the process a lot better and easier to work with is some good costume icons for the collections. A number of people made some good sets, but I am particlary found of Loverat’s set: Descriptive Collection Icon Pack. You should really try it is such a time saver.

aelflaed @ mts2 made some really great tiny lots, that are smaller then maxis default lots. They are perfect if you like to play/decorate small lots.

Julsfels has made a really handy object that let you turn your OMSPs on and off with a click. OMSP Controller. Sadly it has not yet been updated to SalentLucidaity’s new set, but it is still pretty handy.

SilentLucidity have made a set of OMSP where we get a LOT more slots so we can place stuff on top of almost anything. Full Range Shiftable OMSPs

I plan to recolour the OMSP controler with some fun recolour that matches my spring set
