Scary cookies

These cookies are from a children’s book (“Håndbog for Hekse” af Malcolm Bird) about being a witch but we added our own touches. This is how the cookies looked last Halloween. In the book they were called “kneecaps”

Another variant of the same cooking is bloody fingers:

Finger cookies

Instead of rolling the dough into balls you shape finger size sticks out of them. You can fix a “nail” made out of half an almond glued on with either icing or red gel. You can make the joints if you run a knife over them while their are warm from the oven, where you want the joints.

Scary cookies

Crispy crunchy cookies. Can be shaped into fingers and topped with almond for fingernails or they can be made as regular cookies and decorated into scary cakes with frosting.
