We have a lot of talented Sims photographers in the community, so perhaps it is time to let them shine rather than models. This contest is not about the models, it is not about the outfits, but it is all about: lighting, settings, effects, angles, composition and creativity.

This contest is also about progress and learning new techniques, so every week you will be given a new tutorial to base your shot on. This way you will push yourself to try new things and learn a lot of new tricks. The first shots will be simple and progress to harder ones using more complicated techniques. All tutorials will be for Photoshop, but that does not mean that you can’t do this if you don’t have Photoshop – you will just have to work out how to get the same effect in your program. It is a requirement that you have some kind of editing program more than MS paint and that you know your program a bit. Some basic editing skills will be required such as changing the background in your shot. Both models and backgrounds will be in game.

You will not have to find yourself a model, because we’ve done that for you. You will be working with the top polish model, Kasia. Nor will you spend your time on finding the perfect outfit as you will all be using the same one in each round.

There will be no eliminations, but we will do scores, so your overall performance is taken into account, to find the winner.

The photographer that wins this will not only get the title of Top Sims Photographer he or she will also get their best picture featured on my website, Pink Rabbit and win a costume prize made by me.
